“This week will see the completion of concrete foundation work and continued masonry detail. The first of three cranes will be set by the end of the week, and will start erecting steel by the first of May,” according to Mel Duggan, owner of Duggan and Duggan General Contracting Inc. The three cranes will off-load steel from the trucks, directly into place on the lodge. Seeing the lodge start to take shape is an exciting part of the next phase of construction.
Even though this week’s snowfall slowed down a few steps, most work continued as normal. Duggan and Duggan contractors are working seven days a week on the project, with completion currently on schedule for the 2012-13 ski season.
