St. Paul’s Lutheran Church will be hosting the Keynote Chorus on May 20 at 3 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend. A freewill offering will be taken to benefit St. Paul’s Building Fund. Refreshments will be served after the concert.
The Keynote Chorus was formed in 1987 by a small group of adults from the Southern Tier, who shared the common love of singing choral music and wanted to share their interest and talents with others. The 75-members group is a diverse collection of men and women of all ages. Directed by Norene Ferris, the chorus meets weekly at Portville Central School.
The chorus holds two concerts a year and is available to help churches, schools, and community and service organizations around the Southern Tier in fundraising projects. The chorus is funded by private donations and in party by the New York State Council on the Arts Decentralization Regrant Program administered by the Cattaraugus County Arts Council.
