Forty-five high school students from ECS and Allegany-Limestone Central have signed up to tour Spain and France on a fun-filled, nine-day EF Tours trip.
Jaye Zelko, an ECS Spanish teacher, and Eileen Finn, an ALCS Spanish teacher, are organizing and going on this exciting trip, which departs Nov. 22 and returns Nov. 30. Teachers from ECS and ALCS will chaperone.
Finn said, “As a lifetime community member here in Ellicottville, I had a few of my friends (ECS parents) contact me about me including their children on this next trip to Spain and France. A trip to Spain has not been offered at ECS in a number of years. I invited Jaye to open it up to her students.”
One tour bus is filled, but the group could add a second bus if another 24 people sign up. If fewer than 24 students sign up, organizers will decide whether to open the trip to ECS parents of students. “Our goal is to not turn away any students,” said Finn.
Under the safe umbrella of an experienced tour company and trusted chaperones, students will visit see many famous sights while using their foreign language skills to make real connections to coursework, learn firsthand about two unique cultures, and gain inspiration for lifelong learning and world travel.
Time is of the essence, so students who are seriously interested in going on the tour should immediately contact Jaye Zelko at firstname.lastname@example.org or Eileen Finn at email@example.com. Find more information at www.eftours.com, tour 1101011.
