Salamanca Garden Club

The Salamanca Garden Club will hold its next meeting on Monday, Nov. 11 at 7 p.m. at the United Congregational Methodist Church on Broad Street in Salamanca. Members will be creating a bouquet of greens to be used throughout the holidays for a table centerpiece.

The club will provide each member with a dish, oasis and candle cup to be used to build the centerpiece. Each member needs to bring a grocery bag full of assorted greens from their yard, hand clippers and a pair of gloves. Greens should be no longer than 9 inches. Any evergreen will work. Also, Princess Pine, Euonymus, yews, ivies, Pachysandra, and Rhododendron work quite well.

Classes for creating wreaths, kissing balls and boxwood trees will also be established at this meeting. Any questions may be directed to Nan Miller at (716) 945-3845.
