one of the dogs EARS rescued this week from a kill shelter in Kentucky, was injured. While the laceration is partially healed on his back end, it did slash through his penile sheath, but it wasn’t lacerated according to the vet, which is a positive. Franklin must have gotten caught in some sort of trap and this is a fairly serious injury. Once he arrives, Franklin will need to be re-examined and his injuries repaired under anesthesia by our vet.
EARS needs your donations to help with Franklin’s vet exams, upcoming surgery and to neuter him. Any amount to help defray these costs is greatly appreciated. Franklin is also seeking a foster home or an adopter when he gets to N.Y. Please email us at email@example.com if you are interested in fostering or adopting.
Donations to help care for Franklin can be mailed to: EARS, 2 Fancher Ave., Salamanca, NY 14779. Donations can also be sent to our Emergency Vet Fund Pay Pal account at: firstname.lastname@example.org. Remember, your donations are tax deductible!
