The Cattaraugus County Arts Council (CCAC) is pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted for the new Arts Business Learning Exchange (ABLE) program that will launch in February of 2014. The application deadline is Jan. 10, 2014.
ABLE is a is a FREE, six-month learning program for 20 artists with a focus on technology, online marketing and e-commerce. Monthly sessions will cover a variety of topics geared toward artists including building and maintaining a website, customer acquisition and internet marketing, selling artwork online, and using social media.
In addition to monthly in-person meetings, the program will include moderated discussion sessions with fellow artists, individual business and marketing consultations, inclusion in CCAC’s Art on Main online store, and a public lecture series covering arts business related topics. The program is open to artists working in any medium including visual, literary and performing arts.

Participants will be selected via jury and all applicants will receive notification of acceptance no later than Jan. 17.
