Ken Brown 700 Club Presents Checks More than $7,000 Raised

by Mary Fox

“Help Us Help Others” is the slogan of the Ken Brown 700 Club, and that is just what they did at the club’s annual fundraising party on March 1. Holiday Valley generously donated the use of the Yodeler  Pavilion where hundreds gathered to enjoy a lunch, beverages and the opportunity to win on a 50-50 draw, and  live and silent auctions. When you include $50 donations from the 57 Ken Brown 700 Club members, you get over $7,000 raised for 10 local organizations and charities including the following.

The Alley Katz, Ellicottville Memorial Library, Ellicottville-Great Valley Trail, Almost Home Animal Sanctuary, Cattaraugus County SPCA, Holliday Valley Lounsbury Adaptive Ski Program, Holimont Phoenix Adaptive Ski Program, Holiday Valley Ski Team, Ellicottville Family Charities and Nannen Arboretum.

Anyone over 70 years of age may be a member of the 700 Club. Call Les Fox for more information at (716) 945-1176.
