CCB Hosts “Parking Lot Sale” in Randolph

LITTLE VALLEY- The America’s Promise Team at CCB (Cattaraugus County Bank) is very happy to announce a new fundraiser. They are hosting a sale in the parking lot of their Randolph branch on Saturday, June 14, from 9 a.m to 4 p.m.

America’s Promise team members have been collecting donations for a few months and hope to be busy selling the goods as that particular weekend is the weekend of Randolph’s Annual Arts & Crafts Festival.

Also available for sale will be the latest edition of “CCB’s Community … Cooking For America’s Promise Volume III,” a cookbook filled with delicious recipes from CCB employees, friends and customers.

“The cookbooks are just $10 and all other merchandise will be fairly priced in true yard sale style,” states CCB’s America’s Promise Chair, Mary Jo Woodarek. “Our efforts help children of all ages in all of our service areas. Why wouldn’t anyone want to visit the popular Randolph Arts & Crafts Festival and stop in CCB’s parking lot to peruse the donations we’ve received? It’s a great cause!”

CCB joined America’s Promise in 1999. By doing so, an alliance was formed to ensure five resources children need are provided:

1. An ongoing relationship with a caring adult-mentor

2. Access to safe places & structured activities during non-school hours

3. A healthy start

4. A marketable skill through effective education

5. An opportunity to give back through community service.
