As you may remember, Alan was an Afghanistan War veteran that took his own life on May 10, 2014. The family has given their blessing to this outreach/fundraising project.
This concert is free and open to the public, but a free-will offering and monetary donations will be taken during the concert.
The Christian band, The Jeff Horth Project, will be performing. The band is from the Little Valley area and has a couple CDs to their credit.
You can check out WNYheroes.org online to get an idea of all the good they do for western New York. At the time of Alan’s death, his family requested that WNY Heroes be the recipient of any memorials.
Chris Kreiger, co-founder of WNY Heroes, will be speaking to the St. Paul’s congregation a week before the concert, as well as the night of the concert, to share information and insights about the organization and the benefits they provide to WNY veterans.
St. Paul’s is located at 6360 Route 242 in Ellicottville. For more information, call (716) 699-2265.
