Don’t miss out on the Summer Festival at GriffisSculpture Park, where music combines with art for a truly unique experience!

On Sunday, August 17, from noon until dusk, the stage area of the park comes alive with live music by Black Rock Zydeco (www.blackrockzydeco.com), Workingmans Dead (www.facebook.com/workingmansdead) and Folk Faces (www.facebook.com/folkfaces).  Enjoy an afternoon that spans musical genres including Zydeco (Cajun/Creole dance music), blues, jam, Americana, roots and folk.

In addition, guests can enjoy beer from EBC, wine, water and grill items, such as hamburgers, hot dogs and their veggie counterparts.

The event will take place on the Mill Rd. side of the park. (From the entrance, take the path up the hill behind the gatehouse to the stage area.)

Admission is $10 at the door, and free for children 12 and under.

While at the park, enjoy over 250 large scale sculptures from Larry Griffis, Jr. and other international artists, encompassing 450 acres. Griffis Sculpture Park is one of the largest and oldest sculpture parks in the country, and Western New Yorkers are lucky to have it practically in their backyards!

If you’ve never experienced Griffis Sculpture Park before, the Summer Festival is a perfect time to check it all out, then kick back and relax with some live music and unmatched scenery.
