Traditionally, summertime is filled with high school students taking drivers’ education courses to ready them for their road licensing driving tests. Before students can even take this course, they must pass the New York DMV written exam. If you are a teenager or adult taking the DMV written test for the first time, then this free educational app could help put you in the driver’s seat in no time.
Taking the DMV test doesn’t have to be scary — not if you’re prepared. The New York DMV Test Prep 2014 app, available at https://play.google.com/store/apps for Android phones and tablets, is a professionally designed study aid to be used specifically for the State of New York DMV exam. According to the app store, all the study material and practice questions are based on the latest New York DMV Driver’s Manual. Nineteen topics including Alcohol and Drugs, Common Signs, Lane Changes and more are covered.
The latest 2014 test questions — 254 of them — are generated randomly and you can choose to study in one of three test modes to suite your individual learning style. With an upgrade, you can get 100 traffic sign questions.
Each quiz simulates the 20-question NY DMV written knowledge test. View your quiz results and find out which areas may require more study. You can also track correct, incorrect and unattempted questions.
Not into quizzes? Then opt to review all test questions at once. This app will display your chosen answer and the correct answer. The smart timer tracks how long it takes you to complete the test. The app works offline as well, so no Internet connection is required.
Reviewer Fitroy Green posted online: “Great app. Once I purchased the app, I saw questions I never saw in the book but showed up on the test. Awesome learning tool.”
Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars by users, the New York DMV Test Prep 2014 app is a great way to get started on the road to many years of safe driving.
