Come to Kinzua Bridge State Park on Aug. 9 and join the geocaching craze. From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., you will learn about GPS (global positioning sy stem) and how to use it. You will also participate in a gentle 1.5-mile geocaching treasure hunt on the Kinzua Bridge State Park’s trails. The class teaches you how to navigate through appropriate GPS screens, use the GPS unit to find a geocache and geocaching etiquette.
GPS equipment will be provided. You should wear comfortable walking shoes and pack a lunch and water. The class meets at Kinzua Bridge State Park Pavilion rain or shine. Youths 10 and older may register with a parent. The fee is $20. Please call (814) 362-5078 for more information or to register.
