Tuscan Moon – A Tribute to Michael Kerns will take place Saturday, Aug. 23 at 6 p.m. at John Harvard’s Cabana Bar & Pool Complex at Holiday Valley. (Great weather is guaranteed but we will move inside if weather is unsuitable.)
This event is the absolute favorite Ellicottville party, with over 200 people attending this upscale end-of-the-summer dinner party. It is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Ellicottville Foundation for Youth to raise funds for their many worthy projects, including their affiliate, Family Support for Ellicottville.
This is by far the best food served at any venue, with many mouth-watering entrees provided by the best restaurants in town, with their chefs looking to show off their signature dishes. This year’s Italian theme should be the best yet as the menu shows. Many culinary surprises are in store for those who attend, but wait until you see the dessert table. Watson’s chocolates abound, and there will be extra special cakes, cookies and tarts created by chef Tom Kneeland.
When you arrive, you will be greeted with great hors d’ oeuvres from John Harvard’s served by students from ECS. Before and during dinner listen to the great music of The Strangers, Ellicottville’s favorite party band.
You will love the silent auction, as there is always a great bargain to be had, and the live auction features rare wine, Sabres tickets, CUTCO knives, as well as a many more great bargains.
This year, The Strangers will have the crowd dancing to the best rock n’ roll in Ellicottville.
Beyond the food and the company, this is by far Ellicottville’s most popular event and it helps a great cause and is tax deductible.
For those of you who knew Michael Kerns, you know that this is a party he would have loved.
Remember that this is Ellicottville, so the dress is always casual, or be like Joey D come and in theme.
Tickets are $65 per person and will be available in many local outlets, but you can order by phone (credit cards accepted) by calling Kegs at (716) 699-8758.
