HallowScream Spooktacular Returns Oct. 26 in Little Valley

The Little Valley Volunteer Fire Department and Auxiliary will be hosting the second annual HallowScream Spooktacular on Sunday, Oct. 26 in the village of Little Valley.

This Halloween-themed festival features many fun, creepy and spooky things to do, such as the Monster Dash, an obstacle course with monsters trying to steal the runners’ flags! The entry fee is $15.

Another unique event is the Pumpkin Derby. Just bring a decorated pumpkin ready to race downhill like a pinewood derby car! There is a $5 entry fee for this event.

There will be many free activities as well, including the Pumpkin Carving Contest, Costume Parade, Trick or Treat Indoor Activity Trail, Haunted House and a Village House Decorating Contest.

In addition, a karate demonstration, dance performance, and food and craft vendors will be available for all to enjoy.

For more information and registration forms for the Monster Dash and Pumpkin Derby, please visit our events page at www.LVVFD.com.

This is a family-friendly community event that has something to be enjoyed by all and will be held rain or shine.

The Little Valley Volunteer Fire Department would welcome anyone interested in volunteering to help with the many activities, set up or clean up before, during and after the event. This is a great way to get involved in our community, meet new friends or visit with existing ones while giving our children a fun and safe Halloween event.

If you are a vendor, non-profit organization or business, we invite you to participate in this event by hosting an outside vendor booth (vendor applications available on our website), sponsorship by donating supplies or prizes, or by volunteering to help with the festival events, setup or cleanup.

This event is sponsored by Little Valley Volunteer Fire District and Auxiliary, Vail Hardware, Colin Speta Memorial, Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Employee’s Association, Dutch Hill Woodworks, Pat McGee Trail, Events After Dark and the Little Valley American Legion.
