Ellicottville CTE Students Build Rail for Holiday Valley

The Ellicottville Career and Technical Education (CTE) welding and metal fabrication class designed and built a step down rail for Holiday Valley’s terrain parks.

Led by instructor Dave Poulin, students created the plans and then executed the 16-foot kink box at the Ellicottville BOCES Center.

Pictured (top right) are the chief welders, Nick Maston from Pioneer Central and Mark Doud from Springville, who were also among the first to ride the feature in Holiday Valley’s 42/78 Park.
