Start off your spring by creating a one-of-a-kind, dyed silk scarf with Julie Mader or your own dazzling, colorful, and iridescent fused glass jewelry in a hands-on workshop with Cherie Antle.

Work on your artistic skills with a structure line drawing class that will help you gain a better understanding of form by creating a small still life with Laura Hickey.

Create some new unique accents for home in our first “Sip and Sculpt” with Courtney Mealy, a social evening for groups to BYOB, with ceramic supplies provided. Sign up for all six sessions or choose the evening you want to attend.

Or Patti Rosenswie will show you how to make your own wooden crate coffee table to transform living spaces inside and out.

Give your business a spring boost with a Do-It-Yourself website beginner class working with the free Weebly program.

Courtney Mealy, Programs and Grants Manager at Cattaraugus County Arts Council (CCAC) states, “We are thrilled to offer exciting, new classes for the public so whether you are an artist or just want to relax after a long day of work, we have classes that you will love.”

Classes are held at the area’s only fully-equipped professional art studio at 100 West Main Street, Allegany, New York. Anyone age 16 or older is welcome to take the adult art classes and CCAC members get a tuition discount on most class offerings.

There’s so much creativity springing up at the Cattaraugus County Arts Council and you won’t want to miss it!

A full list of the classes, the registration form and Paypal payment option are on the CCAC website, www.myartscouncil.net.

A completed registration form and pre-payment are required for all classes. Check payment is accepted, and can be sent to CCAC at P.O. Box 406, Olean, NY 14760 or dropped off at the studio at 100 West Main Street, Allegany.
