The second annual Ross Peters Memorial Golf Tournament is scheduled for Friday, May 29, at Holiday Valley and there’s still room for foursomes and dinner guests, says Wendy Speroni-Smith.
The tournament is a four-person scramble beginning at 1 p.m. Tickets are $100 per person and includes golf and a delicious dinner party with entertainment in the Main Lodge. Guests are also invited to attend the dinner only for $30 per person.
The event was established in 2014 as a way to honor the memory of Ross Peters, the beloved attorney and community leader who had offices in Salamanca and Ellicottville and passed away in 2011. Funds raised will support the National Alopecia Areata Foundation and the Empire Animal Rescue Society.
The event is organized by a committee of Peters’ loving family members, including his nephew and founder of the event Chris Krantz, Peters’ wife Judy, son and daughter-in-law Ryan and Olivia Peters, daughter Jessie Peters, niece Karin Hager and sister Wendy Speroni-Smith.
If you’d like to participate in the tournament or just the dinner, please call Speroni-Smith at 716-307-3625 or email her at email@example.com by Tuesday, May 26.
