The Cattaraugus County Fair gets going bright and early on Monday, August 3 at the Fairgrounds in Little Valley and runs through Sunday, August 9.
The Cattaraugus County Fair celebrates the agricultural successes of the region and, although agriculture is central to the fair’s history, the week-long event has become synonymous with top-rated entertainment and a wide variety of daily performances, rides, exhibitions and more. Of course, it wouldn’t be the fair without the following grandstand events that will wow grownups of all ages every evening:
Aug. 3: Demolition Derby, 7:30 p.m.
Aug. 4: WNY Pro Stock Tractor Pull, 7:30 p.m.
Aug. 5: Figure 8 Races, 7:30 p.m.
Aug. 6: Trace Adkins in Concert, 8 p.m. (additional fee varies by seat selection)
Aug. 7: Monster Truck and Quad Races, 7:30 p.m. (additional fee $6)
Aug. 8: Big Rig Truck Pull, Local Semis, 4x4s and Drag Racing, 4 p.m. (additional fee $6)
Aug. 9: Demolition Derby, 5 p.m. (additional fee $6)
General Admission to the fair is $10, but pre-sale tickets are available through Aug. 1 for $7 at Cattaraugus County Bank locations and Olean Area Community Banks. They’re also available through Aug. 2 at the Fairgrounds.
On Youth Day, Wednesday, Aug. 5, general admission for children ages 15 and under is $6 (8 a.m. to 4 p.m.), and Thursday, Aug. 6 is Senior Citizen Day, when general admission is discounted to $6 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
