Hungry for the best of the best eats in EVL?

Welcome to the 30th annual Taste of Ellicottville, Aug. 15-16, from noon to 4 p.m. each day, where you can dine café-style all along the streets of the Village.

Here’s how it works. Purchase tickets at the centrally located booth, then use the tickets to buy your favorite items. Tickets are $1 each and all items are 1-4 tickets. Then get grazing, using your map and menu to guide you to anything your tummy desires.

Enjoy treats and samples from all your favorite EVL hot spots, including Katy’s Cafe, Katy’s Catering, The Gin Mill, The Barn Restaurant, Armor Inn, Tim & Bonnie’s, Holiday Valley, Bike ‘N Bean, Tips Up Cafe, Madigan’s, Balloons, Cadillac Jack’s, Wholesome Hideaway, EBC, Watson’s Cholcolates, Dina’s at the Mont and Dina’s.

And just what deliciousness can guests expect?

Get your protein on with smoky root beer pork sliders, bourbon pulled chicken, roast beef sundaes, shepherd’s pie, bleu-cheese crusted pork medallions and much more, including, of course, wings of every manner and style.

Looking for the catch of the weekend? Try swordfish with cilantro ginger vinaigrette, Key West conch fritters, fried calamari, coconut shrimp, clam chowder, Cajun shrimp, crab cakes and more.

Travel around the world without leaving EVL by sampling a variety of tasty ethnic foods, including sesame ginger chicken and noodle salad, sushi jalepeno popper rolls, burritos and quesadillas, Thai chicken chopped salad, Hungarian stuffed peppers or Asian Mahi Bau Buns.

Need a carb fix? Try Guinness mac and cheese, funnel fries, Burrata pasta, lavender rice pudding, fresh potato chips, tangy potato salad and more.

Fruit and veggies your thing? Grilled eggplant, jalepeno creme corn, watermelon salad, blue mushroom soup, smoothies, pesto pasta with roasted summer veggies and much more can all be yours.

Of course, you’ll want to save room for scrumptious desserts such as cheese cake fingers, strawberry shortcake, Tom’s Mom’s cookies, sponge candy, peach and red raspberry crisp, apple whiskey caramel sundaes topped with bacon and more.

From soups and appetizers to entrées and desserts, the Taste of Ellicottville has something to satisfy your every craving. Bring a doggie bag and treat yourself to one of everything!
