It’s Project Christmas Time!

Ellicottville Central School is accepting donations for Project Christmas, a program that provides an “extra touch” at Christmas time for many local families. This partnership between the school and community provides food, gifts, necessities and support to more than 65 families and 40 senior citizens who live in our community.

Gift tags will be located on gift trees at Ellicottville Pharmacy, M&T Bank, Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and Five Star Bank.  Simply choose a gift tag, purchase a gift for the anonymous individual described on the tag, wrap it up and drop it off at either the high school or elementary school office. Gifts are due by Thursday, December 17.

Students may also get involved by bringing in non-perishable food items. Monetary donations can be made out to “Project Christmas” and mailed to: Ellicottville Central School, ATTN: Kim Watt, School Nurse, 5873 Route 219, Ellicottville, NY 14731.

With the difficult economic troubles we are facing and many families struggling to get by, the need for help throughout our community is even greater. Please help make the Christmas season more special for members of our community. Thank you!
