Baking ‘Breads from the Garden’

Join Cornell University Cooperative Extension of Allegany County Master Gardeners, who are also long-time bread makers, as they demonstrate the process of baking delicious breads made with herbs and produce grown in your own gardens.

Even if you don’t grow your own produce, but get it from Farmers Markets or the produce aisle of your local grocery store, this workshop is for you! With your help, we will bake delicious breads including rosemary bread, dark chocolate zucchini bread, panzanella, bruschetta, and garden pizza.

The class will wrap up with sampling your “garden breads.”

So, come with questions, recipe ideas and your favorite apron, and be prepared to have fun getting your hands dusty (with flour that is) and to learn how to make some amazing breads with ingredients you can grow yourself!
