The Small Business Development Center and JCC Center for Continuing Education are offering a series of classes for regional businesses and entrepreneurs interested utilizing the powerful reach of social media to promote their products and/or services.
The series begins with principals and best practices in Social Media Marketing and leads participants, step-by-step through assessing their company’s current social media presence, developing an internet marketing strategy, setting goals and creating valuable content. In addition, participants choose 3-4 platform classes to learn in-depth (Facebook, Google+, Yelp, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube). The classes are hands-on and participants are encouraged to work directly on their organization’s social media profiles under the coaching of the instructors during class.
The objective of this non-credit certificate program is to generate more visibility, traffic, and leads through strategic social media marketing.
Tuition for the series is $215 (Chamber/MAST members get a 15 percent discount).
Classes begin Feb. 5 and will be held Friday mornings on the Jamestown, Dunkirk and Olean campuses. For full details and to pre-register for classes, please visit www.sunyjcc.edu/social-media-certificate/registration or call the Small Business Development Center at (716) 338-1339.
