Seneca Resorts & Casinos once again stood out among the stars of the hospitality industry, as AAA Western and Central New York honored the region’s best and brightest.
Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino and Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino each earned the prestigious AAA Four Diamond Award®, which recognizes hotels that are upscale in all areas, providing guests with accommodations that are progressively more refined and stylish, according to AAA. In all, only 16 hotels and one restaurant from a 25-county area of Upstate New York earned Four Diamond status.
“Every day, thousands of people choose to make our properties part of their travel plans,” said Audrey Oswell, chief operating officer, Seneca Gaming Corporation. “The high standards of the Four Diamond Award reflect the commitment to excellent service that our 4,000 employees bring to our guests. We are honored to have been continually recognized in this elite class.”
The jewel of the Southern Tier, Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino has earned a Four Diamond rating each year since 2009. The Southern Tier region’s only AAA Four Diamond Award-winning resort features 413 luxurious hotel rooms, each with picturesque mountain views, complete with upscale amenities.
“We are pleased to present the coveted Four Diamond award to both Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino and Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino,” said Tony Spada, president, AAA Western and Central New York. “Their Four Diamond recognition is a testament to their commitment to exceptional customer service.”
“Four Diamond status is not easy to achieve,” added Carol DiOrio, vice president of travel, AAA Western and Central New York. “Less than six percent of 58,000 AAA approved properties make the elite Four Diamond list.”
For 80 years, AAA has used professional inspectors to conduct in-person property inspections. AAA offers the only rating system using comprehensive, on-site professional hotel and restaurant evaluations guided by member priorities. Hotels at the Four Diamond level are committed to providing every guest with a personalized experience and attentive service in comfortable, high-quality surroundings, according to AAA. They typically offer an extensive array of amenities and guest services.
Since opening Seneca Niagara Casino in 2002, Seneca Gaming Corporation has grown into one of the region’s largest private sector employers and the leading name in hospitality. The three Seneca Resorts & Casinos properties in Niagara Falls, Salamanca and Buffalo employ approximately 4,000 people and welcome approximately 15 million guests each year.
