NY Presidential Primary is April 19

What You Need To Know

New York’s primary election takes place Tuesday, April 19 and New York voters have the opportunity to play a role in deciding the Republican and Democratic party nominees.

Registered Democrats may choose between former U.S. Senator from New York and U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders from Vermont.

Registered Republicans may vote for U.S. Senator Ted Cruz from Texas, Ohio Governor John Kasich, or businessman Donald Trump. Dr. Ben Carson is also listed on the ballot, but he has dropped out of the race.

Please note that only registered Democrats or Republicans may vote in New York primaries.

The polls will be open from 12-9 p.m.

Ellicottville: Ellicottville Town Center, 28 Parkside Dr.

Great Valley District 1: Killbuck Volunteer Fire Hall, 3790 Killbuck Rd., Killbuck

Great Valley District 2: Great Valley Town Hall, 4808 Route 219, Great Valley

Mansfield: Mansfield Town Hall, 7691 Toad Hollow Rd.
