The owners of North Park Innovations Group, Inc. are proud to announce that the headquarters for this business has returned to Ellicottville. Owned by Bill and Lori Northrup, this business manufactures the newest, high-tech HVACR product lines developed by Stride Tool, the hand tool manufacturing business that was founded in Western New York 36 years ago.
The Northrups sold the legacy hand tool lines of Stride Tool to new ownership in early April. That part of the company will keep the Stride Tool name, continuing with full operations in the Glenwillow, Ohio facility. It will be managed by CEO Ron Ortiz, who has been a friend of the company for many years.
The retained high-tech products lines, the iManifold, an award-winning diagnostic platform, and the industrial training units, are both used in the HVACR industry. This part of the business has been renamed “North Park Innovations Group, Inc.” and is headquartered in Ellicottville, where all manufacturing, customer service, accounting and administrative functions are based. Several new employees have been hired in recent weeks, joining the team that has been operating in Ellicottville for years.
A satellite development facility in Independence, OH houses the software development and new product design team. Sales employees are presently based in California, Nevada, Arizona and Texas, with additional sales positions opening soon in all regions.
“We are so pleased to bring this high-tech business back to Ellicottville, our home town,” says Bill Northrup, CEO.
