Attention all wild women! It’s time to step out of your comfort zone and choose your awesome weekend adventure!

Wild Women Unite hits Holiday Valley Aug. 19-20. Register by Aug. 8 to ensure your spot for this action-packed weekend!

“Women 16 and up can have the opportunity to try something a little adventurous while in a completely safe and controlled environment,” said Suzanne Suchan, National PR & Media Director for Wild Women Unite. “They walk in a little nervous and walk out confident and laughing. They make new friends. They will get in line for next year!”

Suchan added that, “These events provide an outlet to try things that, for one reason or another, women just never got to try before. But the curiosity was always there.  We provide that opportunity, and all our workshops are taught on a beginner’s level, so there is no feeling awkward.  It’s our first time too!  There are many friendships that have started at Wild Women Unite, and many women who have taken up new hobbies too!”

The weekend kicks off Friday with an optional tour of Ellicottville Brewing Company at 3 p.m., followed by a Welcome Social at Yodeler Lodge. The social features a vendor fair, hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar, a Happiness Workshop, raffle, bakery exchange and more. Presenters: include Robin Cowdery (World Bicyclist), Paula Green Damico (Blessings By Nature), and Suchan (Mini-Happy Camp Workshop).

On Saturday, it’s up and at ‘em, as the day begins with Sunrise Soul Dance led by Darby Ann Balling.  Balling will guide guests to become grounded and cleansed, lead some yoga and provide some special messages to energize the group as they embark on an unforgettably fun day.

From there, women choose four workshops to fill their day.

All tickets include the Sky High Aerial Adventure park, including one ride on the Mountain Coaster, which counts as a double workshop, but can be substituted with two other workshops if preferred. The Climbing Forest can be added for an additional fee.

Other workshops include Mountain Biking (additional fee applies if a bike rental is needed), Learn to Shoot a Gun—Skeet & Trap (additional fee applies), Yoga, Trail Hiking: Walking in Nature, and a Spectacular Relay Race, with prizes and laughs guaranteed.

Break up the day with a lunch buffet at Holiday Valley, and at 5 p.m., enjoy dinner back at Yodeler Lodge.

Then wrap up the weekend with an optional tour of the Winery of Ellicottville.

At the end of the weekend, participants get a Wild Women Unite goody bag and souvenir as a remembrance of their accomplishments.

Cost for the weekend activities is $159 per person. Space is limited to 200 participants, so don’t wait to sign up!

“Won’t you join us? We have your ticket!” Suchan said.
