Health & Fitness: Core Performance Fall Schedule Announced

With one of the nicest summers in a long time winding down, Core Performance Fitness is gearing up for a new season.  We understand the allure of summer can preoccupy our schedules and eating habits.  Autumn brings cooler days and colorful foliage.  It also gives us a fresh opportunity to jump back into a routine and fitness classes.

At Core Performance Fitness, we consistently offer classes for every fitness level and need.  We offer beginner strength training, HIIT training and circuit training classes.  We have been the only fitness studio in Ellicottville to also offer Zumba and KidsFit classes as well.  Our classes start as early as 6 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays with a Morning Mash Up class taught by Debbie Fredrickson.  We also offer a 6:15 a.m. class Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays.  This class is taught by Melinda Jones and is a unique and new format for training.  The class is called 3x a Charm and takes the participant through strength training, cardio and core work that is guaranteed to make you sweat!  And, if those classes are still too early, Debbie Fredrickson also offers and No Jumping Strength and Conditioning class on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8:30 a.m.

The afternoons are another busy class time at Core Performance.  On Mondays, KidsFit classes begin at 4 p.m.  We offer a Basics class on Wednesday at 4 p.m. (half hour class), with an emphasis on basic moves done correctly.   

On Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5 p.m., challenge yourself with Strength and Conditioning/HIIT with Mila Clauss.

Kim Duke, who will take you through a Circuit Training Class that utilizes the entire gym and is designed to challenge every part of your body, teaches Thursday’s version.

Our Zumba class, taught by Samantha Nelson, has been a staple since Core Performance opened.  Even while Samantha was pregnant and on maternity leave, this class kept rocking.  Samantha’s classes are Mondays and Wednesdays at 6 p.m. and Saturday at 9 a.m.

Finally, Saturday classes: We start with Circuits at 7:30 a.m., follow that with a new Flexibility Class (half hour class) at 8:30 a.m.  We wrap up the morning with Sam Nelson’s Zumba at 9 a.m.

Our classes are very affordable. ranging from $5-10.  Qualified instructors who have all participants’ fitness levels as their first priority instruct them all.
