It’s Fall Festival weekend, which means non-stop fun in the Village and on the slopes! Enjoy loads of entertainment all around town, arts and crafts vendors, carnival rides, huge sales and much more all weekend long.
Start your weekend off right Friday in the Village with the food court, from 6 to 10 p.m., and live music at the local hot spots. See schedule page 17.
Heading into Saturday and Sunday, stroll the arts and crafts vendors lining the Village streets. Find that perfect gift for yourself and get a jump on that holiday shopping. The food court will be open, with lots of grub to choose from, and the young and young at heart will love the rides.
Up at Holiday Valley, gear up for the season at the Mountain Shop Sale and the Ski Swap. Take a scenic chairlift ride to the top of Spruce or Mardi Gras, where you can enjoy a cookout and live music. More entertainment can be found at the Cabana Bar overlooking the slopes.
If you’re looking for an adrenaline rush, Sky High’s Aerial Park and Mountain Coaster will be open.
Over at HoliMont, check out HoliCX, the first ever Cyclocross race at HoliMont. Spectators welcome, the race will take place at the bottom of the Sunset area on Oct. 8, 2016 from 9:45 a.m. – 2 p.m. The Exhibition lift will also be running for those who want to view the resort from the top.
Burn off some calories at the annual Fall Festival 5K on Saturday, or the Fall Festival Mountain Bike Race on Sunday. Visit www.heartrateup.com for more info.
On Sunday, check out the Birds of Prey Show at HV, and even more live entertainment in the Village.
If you’re looking for even more family fun, head to nearby Pumpkinville, where you can gobble up an array of fall foods, navigate the new Snoopy corn maze, ride on the all-new Pumpkinville Express, and check out all your old faves.
If you’re feeling brave, check out Nightmare Hayrides, where a haunted hayride, spooky maze and numerous scares await.
Fall Festival in Ellicottville comes but once a year. Don’t miss out on your chance to make some great memories while enjoying fall and gearing up for winter!
