The 35 member Community Choir, under the direction of Annette Ieda, has been practicing for four weeks already, alternating its Sunday afternoon rehearsals between Salamanca and Ellicottville. This year’s production is “The Heart of Christmas” by Pepper Choplin.
Performances will take place on Sunday, Dec. 18 at 3 p.m. at the United Congregational Methodist Church on Broad Street in Salamanca, and 7 p.m. at the Holy name of Mary Church on Jefferson Street in Ellicottville.
A free will offering will be taken to help pay for the music, and for the Community Food Pantry housed at the United Church in Ellicottville and the Food Pantry at the United Congregational Methodist Church in Salamanca.
A catered reception will be held in Ellicottville at the HNM Church Hall following the 7 o’clock performance.
