Buying or selling a home can be an exciting experience, but the VanDyke Agency, LLC knows that it can be a stressful one, too. Fortunately, Todd and Ciji VanDyke’s years of experience and familiarity with the area take a lot of the stress out of the process! The real estate agency, which opened two and a half years ago, is excited to share the news of their move to Great Valley, one of the many communities they serve.
Although the VanDyke Agency is a newer business, the VanDykes are no strangers to the local real estate scene. Todd, a Real Estate Broker, has many years of experience in real estate and vacation rental departments from working with another local agency. Ciji, a Salamanca native, is a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson and draws from several years of real estate and marketing experience from working in her hometown.
Over the past year, the VanDyke Agency has seen many changes as their business (and family!) continues to grow. Ciji explained, “Todd and I got married last year, and had a baby this past fall. We had a new agent in February come on board, and then we had two more agents come on board in the spring!”
The agency welcomed two licensed real estate salespersons to the agency: Tom Pietras of New Albion is brand new to the industry, but has been busy selling and listing this year, as has Christy Marie Wiser of Great Valley, who has lived and worked in the area for several years. In April, Associate Real Estate Broker Timothy Philips of Franklinville joined the agency, bringing over 20 years of experience working with buyers and sellers in the Southern Tier.
Just two weeks ago, the VanDyke Agency moved their office to 4774 Route 219 in Great Valley, not far from Katy’s Fly In Cafe. Their original location was at 696 Broad Street in Salamanca, but Ciji is excited about the move to a larger space: “The new office in Great Valley is a great central location and halfway point between Salamanca and Ellicottville.”
The VanDyke Agency serves many communities across the Southern Tier, including Salamanca, Ellicottville, Great Valley, Little Valley, Olean, Allegany, and more. Although many associate real estate agencies with buying/selling homes, the VanDyke Agency also specializes in vacation properties, long term rentals, and property management. Whether you are looking for a rental house, a vacation house, or have property you’d like to rent or sell, the VanDyke Agency will work hard to help you find what you’re looking for, as they have a true passion for what they do.
Speaking of the growth of their business, Ciji said, “It’s so exciting for us! Real estate is a great business, and we love it. I can’t picture myself doing anything different. Taking that chance two and a half years ago to go out on our own was a big leap of faith, and it worked! To think that just a couple years later we bought our own nice office and have broken that barrier of the husband/wife team is an awesome feeling. Three people had reached out to us to come on board—the fact that people looked beyond us as a husband/wife team spoke volumes of us as people and business owners. We’re so excited to have them as part of our team!”
Did you know more than 85 percent of homes on the market are bought through local real estate sites? The VanDyke Agency’s website is no exception, and you can use this information to your advantage through their comprehensive web listings and photos: vandykeagency.com. Search for homes or properties in the area by location, or narrow down your choices by selecting the school district, year built, style, price range, property size, number of bedrooms and/or bathrooms, and more!
