On Feb. 11th, U14 athletes traveled to Bristol Mountain in Canadaigua, N.Y. This was their first speed event of the season.
HoliMont’s Simona Muscarella found herself on the podium with a 2nd place finish. Isabella Stringer (HO) took 6th, Brooklyn Napolitano (HO) 7th, Cece Carls (HO) 8th and Madalyn Cummings (HO) 10th. Holiday Valley’s Alexandra Smillie finished 11th, Leah Smillie (HV) 14th and Brianne Allegra (HV) 16th. Gianna Ferrara of HoliMont placed 19th, Sarah Kelly (HO) 20th, Heather Dunlap (HO) 21st, Sophia Gambino (HV) 22nd and Megan Kelsch (HO) 23rd. Claire Rintoul (HO) took 29th, Molly Basadur (HO) 30th, Helen Malone (HO) 39th, Charlotte Branscombe (HO) 40th, Halle Stephens (HV) 41st and Hannah Baker (HO) 53rd.
For the boys, HoliMont’s Logan Kidd and Cameron Johnson took 2nd and 3rd, respectively, with teammate Buck Rathbun finishing 9th. Carson Corey of Holiday Valley placed 10th, Erik Shattenberg (HV) 11th, Ryan Scanlon (HV) 13th, Liam Ainslie (HO) 15th, Logan McCulloch (HO) 17th and Ian McKenna (HO) 19th. Peter McKenna (HO) took 22nd, Ryan Gambrell (HO) 23rd, Andrew Williams (HO) 24th, Nicholas Koerber (HV) 24th, Gabriel Lisowsky (HO) 37th, Blake Preston (HO) 42nd and Owen Griffith (HV) 47th.
