Core Performance Fitness and Training is very excited to announce a variety of new classes for this Spring season.
As many of you have seen, Pound Class has come to Core Performance. Core was able to import a fabulous instructor, April Woolley, who is a traveling Pound instructor. In real life, April is actually a music teacher from Pioneer Central School District and instructs each class like she is conducting an orchestra. The music, the pounding and April’s style of teaching have made this class a huge hit. April presently teaches every other Saturday at 9 a.m. (next class April 28). But, we are working on getting her here on a weeknight and a weekly basis. Stay tuned for updates.
Our next new class is one that has come highly requested. Tone and Stretch Class will be taught at the 8:30-9:15 a.m. time slot on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This class is designed to be low impact, but very effective and efficient when it comes to developing strength, balance, and core strength. Each class ends with a thorough stretching routine. This class is for eight participants only, so pre-registration in a MUST.
On Tuesdays at 5:15 p.m., Core Performance will now be offering an Interval Training Class. This class is fast paced and designed for people who want a boot camp type of challenge. We will focus on form, strength, core and cardio with every move. This class is also for eight participants only, so preregistration is a MUST.
Core Performance is also super excited to announce that Yoga will be returning to our schedule. Starting May 2 at 6:30 p.m., Wendy Werner, FNP-BC, will be joining our team. Wendy, who has had the opportunity to be taught Yoga by many different instructors in many different cities, finally decided to enroll in Yoga teacher training at East Meets West Yoga Studio in Buffalo. Wendy has chosen to teach Vinyasa Yoga, which follows a series of poses that flow together to build flexibility, strength and concentration that encourage transformation of the mind, body and spirit. Classes can be as difficult or as easy as you chose. All levels of ability, fitness and flexibility are welcome.
