Party On in Ellicottville

Fall Fest in Ellicottville means endless live music. Head to Balloons for Rocktoberfest, with a full lineup of music spanning Thursday night through Sunday. Check out DJ Xcite, DJ Snarski, Porcelain Bus Drivers, DJ Kage, Black Widow, Last Call, Qwister, Darkwater Duo, Breakaway on the main stage and in the tent all weekend long. There’s always a party going on in Ellicottville, and now’s the time to mark those calendars for upcoming events!

On Nov. 3, it’s time to break out your legwarmers and tease up your hair for an 80s party to remember! Head to Steelbound, where the doors open at 7 p.m. The party features Buffalo’s favorite 80s band, Nerds Gone Wild, with contests for best costumes and lots of 80s surprises. This 80s blowout benefits A Cattaraugus for Tomorrow, an organization driven to bring a children’s museum to Ellicottville. Costumes are highly encouraged. Come November, the Holiday Valley Beer and Wine Festival returns. ON Friday, Nov. 9, the Trucks N Brews Beer Party happens outside Tannenbaum Lodge. Your’ $25 ticket includes a huge bonfire, Southern Tier and EBC beer trucks and live music by the Porcelain Bus Drivers. Food will be available from Lloyd’s, J&L BBQ, Polish Villa II, Fat Bon’s, Bike N Bean, Tim & Bonnie’s, Outback Kettle Korn and Holiday Valley.

The following night, the Beer and Wine Festival takes over HV’s main lodge. The festival is legendary for great beers, wines, spirits and good times. Guests (21 and over) can sample over 100 beers and wines from 30 craft brewers from New York State and the region, plus enjoy entertainment on all three floors of the lodge. Each ticket includes a $5 food voucher for the Brew Festival food court. Designated drivers pay just $10 which also includes the $5 food voucher.
