It almost seemed as if it was a Fall Fest night in Madigan’s in Ellicottville last Saturday.
The upstairs bar was filled end to end with people showing their support for Cystic Fibrosis, a genetic disorder that attacks the lungs, digestive system and other organs in the body leading to premature death.
The event included basket raffles, 50/50 drawing, complimentary food, beverages, DJ Tanner and a 30-minute total body workout.
The event was a huge success, raising $4,200 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in just two hours. All of the proceeds go towards finding a cure and better medications to help those with the disease live longer lives.
The support from the community was just amazing. The second annual fundraising event will be even bigger and better.
A huge thank you needs to go out to everyone who showed up for the event, everyone who donated baskets, everyone who helped put this thing together, everyone who did the workout, everyone who donated, DJ Tanner, Tim and Bonnies Pizza and Madigan’s, who did an incredible job hosting the event.
It was a well-organized, fun-filled event that got us that much closer to a cure.
Looking forward to next year’s event and the day we get to say CF has been cured. Thank you all again!
